The Fannin County Republican Party and the Fannin County Republican Women’s Club are now receiving applications for their 2020 Patriot Scholarships.
There will be three (3) scholarships awarded.
Two $500.00 scholarships will be awarded by the Fannin County Republican Party recognizing Fannin County students who best exemplify patriotism, civic dedication, volunteering, and good works toward their fellow citizens.
There must be at least three letters of recommendation along with a minimum 300-hundred-word essay on “How Has the COVID-19 Pandemic Affected Your Life and What Will be the Lasting Repercussions on Your Future.”
A $500.00 scholarship will be provided by the Fannin County Republican Women, PAC using the same criteria.
Applications have been distributed to all the school districts’ counselors in our area.
