Two arrested after 25 kilos of meth, large sum of U.S. currency and guns seized in Hunt County

Two men are behind bars after a traffic stop led authorities to over 25 kilos of methamphetamines, a large sum of U.S. currency, and two handguns.

The Greenville Police Department, together with the Hunt County Sheriff’s Office, made the traffic stop in the 4400 block of Stonewall Street in Greenville.

The investigation that followed the arrest of the two males resulted in a search warrant being obtained for the residence located at 1218 Morse Street in Greenville.

Officers located 20 kilos of methamphetamines at the residence with the total amount of methamphetamines seized being
approximately 25 kilos.

“The Greenville Police Department would like to thank the Hunt County Sheriff’s Office for their assistance in this investigation,” said officials. 

There is an ongoing investigation into the distribution of methamphetamines in this area and those responsible.
