Sam’s Club offers ‘Hero Hours’ to first responders and healthcare workers, no membership required

On Monday, Sam’s Club announced that they will be launching ‘Hero Hours’ to help first responders and healthcare workers amid then COVID-19 pandemic.

Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Lance de la Rosa said the store’s hero hours would kick off Sunday, Apr. 19 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. and were expected to continue every Sunday until further notice.

“Most importantly I want to thank all our heroes, health care workers, first responders and our associates for all you’re doing and the way you’re helping our communities,” de la Rosa said.

During these hours, first responders and healthcare workers will be provided masks and will be practicing social distancing, said the company in a Facebook post.

The nearest Sam’s Club is located at 3333 N US 76 Frontage Road, Sherman, Texas, 75090.
