Sam Rayburn ISD on Friday announced new hires and promotions after their regular monthly board meeting on May 21.
Below is the list of new hires and promotions:
Coach Justin Tice: Head Boys Basketball, Assistant Baseball, Cross Country, Science teacher. Currently Assistant Boys Basketball at Celeste HS.
Coach Austin Jones: Head Baseball, Assistant Basketball, Social Studies. Currently Assistant Baseball at Prairiland HS. Married to wife Maddie Jones.
Maddie Jones: Secondary English/Writing. Currently teacher at Paris JH in Paris ISD. Married to Coach Austin Jones.
Coach Jamie Watts: Head Volleyball Coach, Tennis. Currently Head Volleyball Coach at 4A Perryton HS. Teaches Health Science.
Coach Shelby Whiting: Assistant Volleyball, Head Track. PE/ Health Teacher. First-year teacher. Has served as substitute in SRISD.
Kristi Chambliss: JH/HS Counselor. Currently serves as HS Counselor at Krum High School.
