Following the recent release of the new Texas Education Association (TEA) guidelines, Sam Rayburn Independent School District announced its plans to reopen the school district Aug. 17. Parents will be given the option to enroll their children either traditional in-person instruction or remote online instruction.
The statement regarding remote online instruction said, “remote instruction will consist of recorded lessons, assignments, projects, and interaction with teachers online and/or by phone during a specific time frame.”
Sam Rayburn ISD said its staff will call each family to gather information for each student’s plans for the upcoming school year.
