With one pro sports regular season getting underway and another coming to a close, both the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers of the MLB are expected to allow fans to attend games at a limited capacity soon.

Although Cowboys owner Jerry Jones did not give specific details about the capacity for his larger-than-life AT&T Stadium, new head coach Mike McCarthy said the expectation for fan capacity is at “about 25 percent,” which would mean approximately 20,000 fans could attend this Sunday’s home opener at noon against the Atlanta Falcons and beyond with the pandemic permitting.

In the MLB, the Rangers’ playoff chances are all but gone, but since the MLB and its players association recently agreed to terms on playing postseason games at bubble sites for different series in their respective leagues, and Texas’ brand new Globe Life Field made the cut. The Rangers’ new stadium will be the site of both the National League’s divisional and championship series along with being named the site of this year’s World Series.

Fans will also be able to attend these playoff events at the new field at a limited capacity of 25 percent, meaning about 10,000 fans can attend each game.
