With six additional positive coronavirus cases reported last week in Fannin County, officials on Monday stated that 14 of those cases have recovered.
On Friday, Fannin County Health Authority James Froelich reported three of the new cases was confirmed by the Texas Department State Health Services, one was confirmed to be a resident of Clyde W Cosper State Veterans Home, one an inmate at the Fannin County Jail and another a male from Telephone who tested positive through the drive-thru COVID-19 testing facility conducted by the Texas National Guard to Bonham on April 29.
The Texas National Guard will be back in Fannin County on May 9 offering free COVID-19 testing. The tests will be for those currently experiencing COVID-19 like symptoms. As of Monday, May 4, no new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Fannin County.
