A drive-thru COVID-19 testing and vaccination site will be set up in Leonard, 206 E Fannin Street, this Saturday, Sept. 18.
Services won’t come at a cost, however, if you have insurance it will be billed, if not, then the Cares Act (HRSA) will be billed.
Moderna and Pfizer vaccines will be available, as well as, rapid nasal antigen test and the PCR test.
“If Saturday is a success then we will continue to be able to continue to do this,” said Joyce Christian with TruMed Health Partners. “Please let’s spread the word so we can reach everyone, not only in Leonard but all surrounding communities and towns who want to be tested and or vaccinated.”
The site will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and again in three weeks for those who got the vaccine to get the second shot.
Additionally, should anyone who is homebound and can’t get to the site want to get the vaccine or be tested, call Joyce Christian at 903-449-8303 and they’ll have someone come to you.
“We will also train anyone who would like to volunteer to help on the day.”
