It’s almost that time of year again, where hoards of trucks and trailers drive up and down Hwy 82/287 for the BIGGEST yard sale in Northeast Texas.
The annual Hwy 82/287 Yard Sale is being held Friday, June 5, and Saturday, June 6 with over 425 miles of yard sales.
The Red River Valley Tourism Association’s giant sale that includes: yard sales, garage sales, sidewalk sales, farmer’s markets, and trades day sales. These sales are usually located in the participating communities , not set-up along the highway. The sale covers 425 miles along Highway 82, the Highway 287 corridors and beyond.
This year the participating communities on Hwy 82 are: Clarksville, Detroit, Reno, Paris, Honey Grove, Bonham, Muenster, Saint Jo, Nocona and Henrietta. On Hwy. 144 is Burkburnett, and on Hwy 287 Bowie, and Quanah.
Participating towns will have Hwy Sales information and maps available to guide shoppers to special sales throughout their communities.
Plan your yard sale, garage sale, or non-profit sale, or sidewalk sale for Friday, June 5 or Saturday, June 6.
The Bonham Visitor Center will list your sale, put you on their map and have those maps and lists available to anyone who would like to check out all the bargains.
