The City of Bonham recently announced Bonham Fire Department’s Fighter/EMT Jeremy Myers as their June 2020 Employee of the Month.
Myers has been an employee of the city since August 2019.
His supervisors and peers describe him as a man of high moral character, good-humored, highly productive, and one who boasts a great work ethic.
Myers was noted for a recent EMS call where he showed true character in providing care to an elderly patient that could not care for himself and had no family to help. He cleaned and redressed the patient, then changed his linens and sanitized his bed. Further going above and beyond to place the patient in contact with care agencies and additional resources for long-term care.
“Jeremy is a shining example of customer service and care provided by City of Bonham employees,” City councilman Timothy La Vergne II said in a statement.
The City of Bonham regularly recognizes employees who have made substantial contributions to their departments, who have provided outstanding customer service to the citizens of Bonham, and who have otherwise contributed or performed in a manner that will reflect favorably on the individual, their department, and the City of Bonham.
