Bonham ISD on Thursday announced Amanda Poormohamadi as the new Assistant Principal for LH Rather Junior High.
Poormohamadi graduated from Bonham High School in 2001 and attended Texas A&M- Commerce where she received her Bachelor in Kinesiology. From there she attended UT- Arlington and received her Masters in Curriculum Instruction.
“Since working in the education field, Poormohamadi has 11 years experience of working at the Junior High level in various roles that include Educator, Coach, and Instructional Coach,” said Bonham ISD.
Poormohamadi has been married for 15 years to Josh and together they have a two-year-old daughter Brylynn.
“When she is not working, her hobbies consist of spending time with her family and friends. Amanda is excited to continue her journey co-leading in BISD while growing students to their fullest potential.”
