It wasn’t exactly the anniversary dinner they had planned on having, however, one Bonham couple decided to make the most of the current COVID-19 situation and still enjoy dinner at their favorite restaurant on their 18th anniversary.
Before the state’s GA-14 order went into effect, Kevin and Sherry Foreman ordered takeout from Los Amigos in Bonham and set up a table in the back of their pickup truck outside the restaurant.
“Los Amigos is our favorite restaurant in Bonham and we go there quite often,” said Sherry. “We joked about having our anniversary dinner in a parking lot and when I mentioned it to my mother-in-law she said to take a card table and chairs with us. So, we just went with that.”
Still practicing “social distancing,” the couple made the evening a little more romantic by adding a red tablecoth and candle.
“We improvised and had a great evening.”
