Honey Grove ISD is nearing the end of two-week mask requirement as the number of positive COVID cases declines.
“We are at the end of the two-week time frame requiring students and staff to wear masks. Our number have been very steady in these two weeks and have now started to decline,” said Honey Grove ISD Superintendent Todd Morrison. “We have several students that will come off quarantine on Monday. We appreciate all the help from students, staff and the community during this time. Our number one priority is the safety and wellness of our students.”
On Monday, Sept. 20, masks will be optional for students and staff though the school will still encourage all students and staff to wear masks.
“This situation is very fluid and we will continue to evaluate it on a weekly basis.”
