Honey Grove ISD’s Trel Pruitt will be taking his talents to Oklahoma Panhandle State for the 2020 football season.
Pruitt played a major role in the Warriors’ success the past two years. He was the district’s Offensive M.V.P. in 2018 and 2019. He set many records his senior year from the running back position. He has the single-game rushing record of 244 yards against Crawford this year. He also scored the most touchdowns in a single game against Whitewright with 5. He totaled over 4400 yards rushing in his career.
“What makes Trel so special is his willingness to get better. He excelled in Track the past few years and holds records in the 400 Relay and 800 Relay. He just broke the 200-meter record at the Warrior Relays in March. Congratulations on all your accomplishments from the Warrior Family,” said the school.
