The Bonham Public Library is ready for another summer Drive-In movie night at 305 E 5th St this Friday, Aug 14.
The Friday night feature will be the movie TROLLS: WORLD TOUR. The 2020 Dreamworks production follows Poppy and Branch as they discover that there are six different troll tribes scattered over six different lands. Each tribe is also devoted to six different kinds of music — funk, country, techno, classical, pop and rock. When rockers Queen Barb and King Thrash set out to destroy the other music, Poppy and Branch embark on a daring mission to unite the trolls and save the diverse melodies from becoming extinct.
The PG-rated movie is already garnering great reviews for the storyline and animation. With Rotten Tomatoes saying, “Trolls World Tour offers a second helping of colorful animation, infectious energy, and sing-along songs.”
“Families are home craving content to entertain the kids. “Trolls World Tour” accomplishes this with flying colors (quite literally), as the folks at DreamWorks Animation turn an animated journey into a unique music history lesson,” Jason Fraley, WTOP (Washington, D.C.) movie review.
Moviegoers can park in the east parking lot, with the first of several movie nights kicking off just after dusk at around 8:30 p.m.
Organizers are asking everyone to stay in their cars to practice proper social distancing. An FM station will be given upon arrival of the screening.
Just don’t forget to stock up on movie snacks before you leave home.
