If you have an old car seat with plans of getting rid of it, Target will take it as its popular trade-in program is set to start back up in April.
From April 5 to April 17, Target customers can trade a car seat for 20% off a new seat, stroller or select baby gear.
Select baby gear includes items from high chairs, swings, rockers, bouncers and placards.
Target customers can trade in two old car seats and redeem two 20% coupons, which can be used in-store or online through May 1. To participate, customers need to be enrolled in Target’s rewards program, Target Circle.
Target has recycled more than 1.1 million car seats since the launch of its program.
As part of Target’s commitment to eco-friendly practices, the event that has collected more than 17 million pounds of plastic coincides with Earth Month – Earth Day is April 22.
