Bonham Public Library is set to reopen on May 4 offering limited services.

“Patrons will be able to come in and check out books, audiobooks, and DVDs with a limit of 5 books and 2 DVDs per card,” said Library Director John D. Hayden. “Patrons are asked to retrieve their items and check out as quickly as possible.”

The library will also continue to do curbside blue bucket pickup for those individuals who wish to practice social distancing.

There will no computer use at this time.

All seating, toys from the children’s area, and all materials in the teen area have been removed so that patrons do not hang out and socialize to reduce the chance of spreading germs to each other.

“We will also continue to offer outside curbside WiFi daily for those who need it. Just pull up in a parking spot or sit on the grass and get on without a password.”

Please return all books and materials to the book drop only. It will reopen on Monday morning.

Only 20 patrons can be in the library at one time.

We highly encourage and recommend our patrons to wear masks while you are in the library.

All programming will be virtually at this time. Follow our Bonham Public Library Facebook page and YouTube Channel.

For printing, we are asking our patrons to use PRINCH, our cloud printing. You can print from your home by using a credit or debit card online. Use 102042 for the Printer number. You can download the PRINCH app on your phones and tablets. You can also use it on your PC’s.

Modified Hours: Monday – Friday: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and we will continue being closed on Saturdays. On Tuesdays from 9 am – 10 am will be for Seniors only.

Please call 903-583-3128 for any questions.
