The North Texas Food Bank distributed food to 267 families for those in need amidst the COVID-19 pandemic this past Friday at the Bonham Armory, located at 327 N. Main Street in Bonham.
The food bank’s theme for the upcoming fiscal year is “Year of Growth,” and it was on display to the citizens as numerous volunteers gathered at the pavilion near the armory ready to begin food distribution at 9 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 14. From there, volunteers handed out food to families until 11 a.m.The produce included various brands of cereal, crackers, and canned soup products among other food items.
