Walmart is extending its closing time at most of its stores nationwide, including rural superstores such as Bonham and Paris.
The company changed its hours in March to an 8:30 p.m. close due to the COVID-19 pandemic effectively changing their 24/7 openings. Now, the company says it is expanding its stores’ hours to 10 p.m.
The Bentonville-based retailer announced more than 4,000 of its 4,700 Walmart stores will make the change by Aug. 17.
As of Aug. 17, nearby locations in Bonham and Paris have also extended closing times from 8:30 p.m. to the new 10 p.m. time.
