Through a partnership with ExxonMobil and their Educational Alliance Grant Program, Kwik Chek/TXB and McCraw Oil Company received 39 $500 grants to disperse to schools in need across Texas, including several in Paris, Texas, to enrich science/math instruction and support neighborhood schools.
Honey Grove Elementary, Bonham High School, Finley-Oats Elementary, I.W. Evans, and LH Rather all received grants.
Regionally, Chisum Middle School, Frank Stone Middle School, and North Lamar High School were also named recipients of the grant.
“Kwik Chek/TXB has a long history of supporting its local communities through various fundraisers and prides itself on working with organizations like United Way and CASA in the past,” said the company in a press release.
The Kwik Check family recently announced it would be rebranding its store to Texas Born, or TXB in the coming month to emphasize the Texan roots and values on which the company is built – authenticity, hospitality, and integrity.
