Officials on Tuesday launched the Fannin County COVID Vaccine Call Center for local residents who wish to be added to the vaccine list when it becomes available.
Tammy Biggar, County Clerk and Public Information Officer said the call center will be open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with the exception of holidays.
Here is what to expect when you call 903-583-2189. You will be asked the following questions:

Do you have any of the following health conditions? (Yes or No)
· Cancer
· Chronic Kidney Condition
· COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease)
· Solid Organ Transplantation
· Obesity and Severe Obesity (BMI of 30kg/m2 or higher)
· Pregnant
· Sickle Cell Disease
· Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus
· Heart Conditions (Heart Failure, Coronary Artery Disease, and/or Cardiomyopathies)
What is your occupation?
Is this your first or second dose of the vaccine?
If this is your second dose when was it given, where, and what was the brand of the vaccine?
Thank you for your patience, your name has been added to the list and someone will be in touch with you from one of the providers as soon as the vaccine becomes available.
The facilities receiving the vaccine will request the list of names from the County and will be making contact with you.
