In addition to northern patrol efforts, Texas Game Wardens out of Cameron county have responded to 25 calls for service from the local US/Mexico Port of Entry to assist U.S. Customs and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Services with aquatic/wildlife inspections to ensure commercial resource importation safeguards, protecting the public, are being met.

These inspections have resulted in the identification of several violations and the seizure of illegally imported aquatic products.
