A new smoothie and juice bar in Bonham has officially opened called 9-1-1 Nutrition at 1609 N Center St.
“We offer healthy meal replacement shakes, energy calorie burning teas, awesome hangout environment, and healthy community as well as great customer service,” said owner Erin Cheney.
Cheney owns and operates the store with husband Randy, who chose to take on this new venture after working for 30-years in the medical field.
“I needed a change of pace and a way to be able to spend more time with my family,” said Cheney.
When it came to naming their new business, she said it came about as a way to represent the first responder community, one that she and her husband are a part of.
“I am an EMT, and my husband is a Police Officer. So it was important to us to ensure that we represented both the first responder community and the health care community as they are often overlooked,” said Cheney.
The main menu consists of their most popular flavors of teas and shakes, but they can make just about any flavor you can think of.
For those looking for a special, Friday’s are the day to stop by. Cheney also encourages customers to grab a loyalty punch card to earn those in-store discounts once filled up.
9-1-1 Nutrition is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. – 4 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
