Terry and Sonny Bingham Benefit is set for Saturday featuring a cornhole tournament, BBQ Dinner, live and silent auction at Lake Bonham VFW.
The weekend’s benefit is to help the family of Terry Bingham, who lost their life suddenly. Sonny also had a stroke shortly after the funeral, and Terry’s life insurance policy expired just two years before.
“We are having to cover funeral and medical expenses.”
As the silent auction is set to start at 11 a.m., registration for the cornhole tournament begins at 1 p.m., weather permitting. The tournament itself starts at 2 p.m. The tournament costs $50 per team and is ran by TCL rules. For the winners of the tournament, there will be a 50 percent payout for first, second and third place.
The barbecue dinner starts at 3 p.m. and is $15 per plate, and the live auction starts at 4 p.m.
There will also be live music by Chase Sanford immediately following.
For anyone who wishes to donate to the benefit, contact Mandi at 214-417-7445.
