The National Beta Club recently announced that Honey Grove senior Hayden Stroud has been awarded the $20,000 Beta Club Scholarship. This is the top scholarship awarded to a National Beta Club member.
“Hayden plans to attend Texas A&M in College Station to pursue a degree in Pre-Med and plans to become an orthopedic surgeon. He was recommended for this award by the local Beta Club sponsor, Ruth Ann Jones,” said Honey Grove ISD.
Stroud competed against over 3,200 applicants to win this prestigious award.
