While in-person classes may be out for the rest of the year due to the coronavirus pandemic, Bonham ISD is honoring their school nutrition staff on ‘School Lunch Hero Day.’
“Today, May 1st is School Lunch Hero Day and ALL of us at #BonhamISD want to give a huge THANK YOU to all of our #LunchHeros @BonhamChildNutrition,” said the school online.
School Lunch Hero Day is a chance to showcase the difference school nutrition professionals make for every child who comes through the cafeteria. School Lunch Hero Day provides you with the perfect opportunity to recognize the hardworking professionals in your school cafeterias.
Nutrition staff has still been working hard over the past several weeks to provide ‘at-home’ meals for students.
